Newel Cap Price List and Options - box newels handcrafted by The Finish Nail

We have newel caps shown with pricing for Poplar, Red Oak, Maple, and American Cherry. The cap sizes listed are the size of the post that they fit. On all of the caps, the very bottom detail is a piece of trim that sets down around the top of your post. It will overlap anywhere from 1/2" to 1 1/4" depending on which cap you choose. The exception to this, is the TCBT cap, which I would recommend using where you currently have a 2 piece cap now and want to change the very top, or want to add to your existing cap and make it a 2 piece cap. This cap has NO overhang over the edge of your post.

On the 2 peice caps (caps that have a larger bottom and a smaller top), the top part is the size of the post, and the larger bottom overhangs from an 1" to 1 1/4", depending on the cap. The Triple cap is a 3 piece cap, meaning has a larger bottom that sets out over the edge of the post, a second level, which is the size of the post, and the very top part which is smaller than your actual post. If you have a 4" post, that very top will be 2", if you have a 5" post, the top will be 3", etc."

Shipping Prices for Caps

We offer flat rate shipping fees on our caps. For the caps, except the Triple cap, the first cap is $11.00, and $5.00 for each additional. For the Triple Cap, the first cap is $12.00 and $6.00 for each additional.

For any order quantities over 4 that are shipping to the same address, we will discount the shipping by 25%.
