Our riser trim panels are made the same as the newel post panels. The only difference would be the size of the panel will be LONGER and TALLER than what would normally be used on the box newel post. The same trims and designs are offered for the risers as what we offer for the newel posts. With these panels, you can very much let your imagination run. You can paint them to match a painted riser or an interior wall, or if part of your stairs is stained, stain them to match. These also would look very sharp underneath a section of balcony on the sheetrock or on the apron board directly under your balusters.
These can be added anywhere very easily. All you will need for the installation is a tape measure, hammer, a few finish nail, nail hole filler, and a small amount of wood glue.
Our goal is to make adding some additional trim to your house much easier and cheaper than what it would cost to have a trim carpenter come to your house and custom build everything there, and then pay a professional painter to paint after he is done. Yes, you will have to do the painting and installation, but because these are sent preassembled, finishing one of these panels is very easy. You can paint, stain, or clear coat prior to installation, so there is no mess in the house, and no edging or taping necessary.
